We started Boodle to solve a problem.
As Academy grads, we remember how great it was to get a care package full of "love" from home. Sharing our bounty with our roomies and classmates. Having a snack close at hand to power through a late-night study session. Pounding down a granola bar between classes before making a run across campus from Arvin Gym to Lincoln Hall.
So, of course we had big plans to regularly send boodle boxes to our Cadet.
But, by the time October rolled around we were already failing at our goal.
Heck, our kid was going to college for 'free'. The least we could do was thank them with a box of snacks each month. But the hassle and expense kept us falling short.
As we talked to other parents in our parent's club, we realized that they had the same problems. How could we keep our cadet happy from march back, through the gloom period, all the way to June week?
Thats where the idea for Boodle came from. We started a micro-business (small business is much too grandiose a term for this thing) to serve our own cadet as well as others. And we hope we can have fun along the way!
